Caroline Carpentier

Caroline Carpentier has been a member of the Brussels Bar since 2001 and specialises in copyright and media law.

With a passion for issues relating to intellectual property and freedom of expression since the start of her career, she advises and represents her clients in out-of-court and/or court proceedings, and assists them with proofreading journalistic or literary publications and drafting contracts. A strong advocate of alternative dispute resolution, she is also an accredited mediator in civil and commercial matters.

She is also a visiting lecturer at UCLouvain Saint-Louis Brussels (where she teaches the course on Law and Ethics of Digital Communication as part of the StratCom Master’s programme), as well as at IHECS and ISFSC.

She has also been a member of the Conseil de Déontologie journalistique since 2014.
